Two models dominate merchant pricing: interchange-plus (you pay the card networks’ interchange plus a transparent fixed markup) and flat-rate (one blended percentage). Interchange-plus is almost always cheaper and clearer for established, higher-volume businesses, which is what we set up by default through Global Payments.
